Jewellery Casting Workshop by the Imperial Smithster

In this workshop, you'll get to learn the basic techniques of silicone rubber mold making, from preparation of the initial model, correct sprueing methods, choosing the right silicone for the job to the art of rubber mold cutting and venting. You'll also get to know the different metals used for jewellery making and get hands on experience melting and pouring pewter.
You'll get to choose what you want to make from our selection of rings, pendants and charms. The 2 different silicone molds that you get to make and the pewter pieces casted afterwards are yours to take home.
*Participants are entitled to 1 non-alcoholic drink each; water, canned drinks, hot and iced coffee, hot tea. They can redeem them at the cafe counter upon arrival.

Using a wide variety of techniques such as lost wax casting/red sand/techniques-that-shall-not-be-named, we're able to provide you with custom made metal hardware/sculptures/jewellery at lightning speeds and low minimum order quantity. We're able to cast in all sorts of metal (pewter, tin, zinc, aluminium, brass, bronze, silver and gold...) and subsequently have them finished in a finishing to your liking (electro-plated, brushed, matte, high-shine, hammered...) "
